04-08-2006 19:56

A Somerset man has become the first person convicted for breaking the ban on fox hunting with hounds.
Tony Wright, 52, denied breaching the Hunting Act, when he led the Exmoor Foxhounds on 29 April last year.

No Standards, No Accountability

Ten years ago, Representative Walter Jones (R-NC) introduced The War Crimes Act of 1996. This statute was one of many in the mid-1990s devoted to the principle of extraterritoriality: the extension of U.S. laws to other countries. When applied, such laws subject foreign nationals to prosecution if they treat a U.S. citizen or U.S. property in a way that violates U.S. laws.

Depleted Uranium Situation Worsens Requiring Immediate Action By Bush, Blair, Ol

04-08-2006 18:09

[Uranium weapons are being used in
Lebanon which means it is a NUCLEAR
WAR! These weapons are extremely
poisoness and deadly........along with
being illegal by all conventions and
treaties. These so-called "depleted"
uranium weapons are actually not
depleted, and their use constitutes
a war crime.]

The Bankruptcy of the Hawks

04-08-2006 14:07

The pictures of victims among the civilian Lebanese population and the heoric fighting Mudschahedin play into the hands of the Jihad-rhetoric of Al-Qaida.. The war against terror can only be won when the ideas of Al-Qaida are discredited and a global norm against terror is created. A positive narrative that can counter Al-Qaida is necessary.
