Some people started off Mayday at 10.30am, demonstrating against animal cruelty, capitalism and loo culture. We met outside Dolce & Gabanna, in Old Bond Street, and moved on to Selfridges, in Oxford Street. Both businesses benefit from the fur trade. (article 1)

The cops under command of Andy (pig) Trotter were pushing people in all directions. This charge pushed people back into Trafalgar square from the Strand while other cops were trying to disperse people from the square. I was up a lamp post and glad of it.
