Contrary to some headlines that I've seen, the police have *not* confirmed that Dr. Kelly's death was a suicide; they confirmed that he apparently died from a slit wrist. And quite right too - determining the cause of death is a matter for the coroner's inquest. While the circumstances in which the body was found suggest suicide, there are other circumstances that the coroner will hopefully be examining.

The following article contains excerpts from the October 2002 National Intelligence Estimate that the Bush administration war criminals claim justifies their bloody mass murder of the Iraqi people in the recent War in Iraq. Far from presenting absolute "proof" that the Saddam Hussein regime was producing "weapons of mass destruction", this NIE fully shows the huge struggle going on inside the US Govt. between those agencies (unnamed, of course) who asserted that the Hussein regime presented a "real and present danger" to the "US Homeland" and those agencies, (like the Department of Energy) that apparently held dissenting views on issues like the Hussein regime's ability to produce nuclear bombs any time in the forseeable future.*** Dancin' till 3am... raising money for Disarm DSEi ***

Four months ago, when Deputy Foreign Minister Michael Melchior established the International Commission to Combat Anti-Semitism, the dedication ceremony included a conference on the meaning of the phenomenon of the "new anti-Semitism." The speakers mostly dealt with what differentiates the new anti-Semitism from "classic" anti-Semitism. Melchior distinguished between "a series of anti-Semitic incidents" and the new anti-Semitism, which is characterized by a "campaign of hatred," emanating from Arab satellite TV stations that spread hatred, "from Bangladesh to Marrakech."
