After the mornings delivery of parcels containing genetically modified crops (time bombs) to government offices, people gathered outside parliament, holding a press conference, handing out leaflets, parading a large 'Terrorist' banner through the streets and presenting Emmeline Pankhurst with a 'terrorist sash' in recognition that the suffragettes could have been tried for terrorism under the new laws had they existed then.

Statement about Terrorism Act (audio - read outside parliament)

This is an audio recording of the statement read out today at the actions against the new terrorism act. A 'press conference' was held outside the gates of parliament, putting the dangers of GM crops, the direct action people take against them, and civil liberties into context when taken next to this draconian law.

Leaflets were given out to curious passers by, before people moved off towards parliament.
