MRC etc plan a public display and interaction mid April. Contact MRC.

The MRC are planning a public display and interaction with the people of Camden / London in mid April in order to convince the people that live there that a virus containment facility / animal torture lab instead of the homes needed there {Gordon Brown promises} are a "good idea". This will be built on a Camden council estate - somers Town. The MRC plans have also been criticised recently at government level.

We are looking forward to it.

Totalitarian Fossil Fools Day took place at the Dorest House Total Petrol Station 170-172 Marylebone Rd on April 1st. Joining in with the events of  http://www.fossilfoolsday.org the 5 protesters demonstrated against the French oil company's fossil foolishness causing climate change and pollution as well as the usual protest against Total's support of the brutal Burma junta. Total funds the evil junta with 500 million dollars a year and its gas pipeline in Burma was built with slave labour (see  http://www.totaldenialfilm.com).

In the past several years there have been studies showing plants flowering as much as a month early, butterflies migrating weeks later than usual, changes in the timing and location of bird migrations, tropical frog extinctions, bears in Spain no longer hibernating because there is enough food to eat all winter, tree lines moving up mountainsides and up in latitude, the line of permafrost moving north, and others. But none of these are close enough or important enough to us, personally, to make us (Americans) concerned. These are all out on the fringe of our world and simply do not affect us.
