Nepal to Export 25 monkeys 'soon'

Yesterday morning we received the sad news that Nepal plans to export 25 rhesus
macaque monkeys at somepoint 'soon', The story was reported in the Himalayan
Times, Nepal's main English newspaper and the government have since failed to
respond to enquiries from Nepal or elsewhere.

An Inspector with Cheshire Police states quite plainly that he is to detain people just because they don't like the look of them. The attitude he exhibits is very disturbing and it isn't a good idea to visit Nantwich in Cheshire where he operates. You may be detained for "a lengthy stay at the Police ststion" without having committed any offence.

president-elect was to select as his chief of staff Rep. Rahm Emanuel, whose
"role as Chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee was to
insure that anti-war and other progressive candidates stayed out of the
running." So when do the protests begin? "Progressives for Obama and other
groups who promised to hold their idol accountable haven't gotten around to
doing so just yet or even announcing when the time will be right for their

United States, is now to be reduced to a "trusteeship" of Addis Ababa, the
aggressor. "This is a case of putting the fox in charge of the barn so that
he may teach the chicken how to function in an orderly manner!" Those
Somalis that choose to recognize Ethiopia's authority will be targeted by
the resistance, deepening conflicts in that wounded society. That may be

nationalist leadership and to spread violence and hate."

Monday November 10th saw a noisy, 45 minutes long, office occupation and an attempted banner drop at EONs headquarters in Coventry in protest against plans to build Kingsnorth coal fired power station. Four activists were arrested on suspicion of aggravated trespass.
