A news story promoting the 2nd Working Class Bookfair;
Durham central Clayport Library,
Millennium Place, Durham City.

Saturday November 22nd 2008, 12 - 4pm.

It is difficult to tell how much worth such stories have, but I estimate that this is somewhere between the equivalent of 30k to 100k leaflets. I expect this event to be very very busy. Especially as the Durham students have been targetted with publicity too this year, when last year they were ignored.

"City Library to host Left Wing Bookfair

A LEFT WING and anarchist literature bookfair is being held this weekend.

The fair will be held in Clayport library, Durham City, on Saturday, from noon to 4pm. Alongside bookstalls, there will be displays by various organisations, including event organiser the Workers Educational Association, and two books will be launched.

One is Archie Potts' biography of Konni Zilliacus, a Labour MP for Gateshead, in 1945, who was later expelled for opposing Foreign Secretary Ernest Bevin's COld War politics before being readmitted as an MP in Manchester.

Geordies - Wa Mental is the first volume in an autobiographical trilogy by Dave Douglass, who worked in pits in the North-East and in Yorkshire.

Admission to the fair is free."
