The parents in front of the Ministry for Justice in Vienna
Parents of the imprisoned animal protectionists protested on the 6th August in front of the Ministry for Justice in Vienna. They expressed how appalled they are at the continuing remand custody of their children. The parents are extremely concerned about the psychological damage that their children are undoubtedly suffering due to this forced separation from their loved ones, and how this may affect them long term. They also talked to media of their own pain at not having seen their children in such a long time.

Iranian refugee Nadir Zarebee hanged himself after NASS- appointed accommodation made him homeless.

Mohammad Hussain, Iraqui refugee and activist for asylum rights died of cancer, wich went undetected and treated while he was detained at Linbdholme IRC.

Climate Campaigners Target Military Base

Message to the Base.
At USAF Mildenhall today, activists linked to the climate camp made a surprise appearance. Dressed as military aircraft and traffic jam both with CO2 technicians. They attempted to entertain whilst defiantly educating the troops and passers by. They said they where there to raise awareness of the large CO2 emissions created by Military aircraft.

Guildford recycling information stall at local farmers market
The Rotten Borough of Rushmoor is proposing issuing every household in the borough with brand new, half-size wheelie bins. These are to replace existing full-size wheelie bins. This exercise in crass stupidity will cost the local taxpayer at least £750,000, be at a huge environmental cost for an oil-based product and lead to environmental health risks of fly-tipping, overflowing bins, maggots and rats.

Paul Morozzo, arrested while attempting to enter Climate Camp in breach of his bail conditions (imposed for his participation in the Drax coal train occupation on 13 June 2008), was freed by Selby magistrates court today, Monday 11 August.
