Info leak on secret BNP conference

This weekend (Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th) the BNP are holding their national conference and demo in Blackpool.
The location is supposed to be secret but local sources believe that The De Vere Hotel is the most likely location.
The demo is going to be on Saturday near the Winter Gardens. The police have nice little protest pens all ready for the fascists.

On Monday 20th November 2006, over 20 well organised environmental and human rights activists risked arrest to shut down a Shell petrol station in central Birmingham for three hours during the morning rush hour. The protesters used direct action to raise awareness about Shell's attempts to build an experimental pipeline and refinery, backed by the Irish state, that will put corporate greed and profit before the interests of local people and the environment in County Mayo, Ireland. In-spite of Shell's facade of corporate responsibility and recent green-washing, Shell and other corporations are also responsible for the rape and plunder of natural resources and the oppression of the indigenous people of the Niger Delta in Africa.

On Saturday 18th November Tyneside Community Action for Refugees held a lively demonstration against child detention and deportation in Newcastle city centre. Over 50 activists and their families spread the message about the horrific crime of detaining children through lively chanting, singing, and giving out balloons with messages from the children of TCAR members.
