A week of grassroots inspiration and challege from cutting edge and inspiring media producers in Swansea (27th Nov-2nd Dec). The festival covers topics such as corporate power, refugees, globalisation, animal welfare, women, consumerism, war, media, activism, environment.

What is BeyondTV?
Undercurrents present a full programme of short movies, workshops, documentaries, music videos & animation from inspiring media producers.
All films will have a theme of social or environmental activism. Hosted in the very heart of Swansea Marina, BeyondTV promises to be an entertaining week with all proceeds going to to support the charity work of undercurrents.

Where is BeyondTv being held?
Just an 8 minute walk from both Swansea train & bus station at
Dylan Thomas Centre
Somerset Place
Swansea Marina SA1 1RR
Except for Friday evening where we move to Monkey Cafe opposite Swansea castle for the BeyondTv party.

What's can I expect to see & hear?
Inspiring media workshops, superb home grown & global films, funky music, comedians, food & drink a plenty.

This year BEYONDTV will host a discussion and short video reports about the recent blockade of a nuclear weapon base in Scotland. The session will be hosted by De Murphy, a Swansea Grandmother arrested for locking her arm to another Welsh woman last month in front of the main gates.

A documentary about the rise of Ecovillages in Wales and England will be screened. A stand up comedian will show clips from a new film exploring the anniversary of the introduction of lesbian civil partnerships
