A short personal video exert filmed during the violent police raid on the GSF/IMC buildings in Genoa. Two Undercurrents reporters, Hamish and Marion who were uploading video to the Indymedia website hid for 3 hours to stop there video material being sized by the police. In fear for there lives and liberty.

Esso HQ blockaded
Esso HQ, Leatherhead, Surrey was blockaded on the morning of 24th July. Two 8m tripods were erected preventing any vehciles getting in - all staff walked (complaining about having to use their legs no doubt) - they were given leaflets and encouraged to take the day off climate changing. Great demo - and just the start I imagine.

In Finland there's been several actions against Berlusconi's fascist regime in solidarity for the victims of Genoa. Demo's have taken place at least in three cities: Turku, Helsinki and Tampere. Information about Genoa was spread also at an electronic music festival in Turku. Finnish rap artist PALEFACE was on stage with banners saying "Assassini" and "Genova G8 - We Won't Forget".
