"December seeds" is a short film in 3 movements -adagio, allegro, moderato-.

It consists of images that were shot in the streets as well as material from the greek media during the December 2008 revolt in Athens Greece. A strange story about "The seeds", a film that has never been shot , unravels as the movie goes on.

Camden Police have "lost" CCTV & otherevidence in youth murder trial.

Police in Camden have said that they have "lost" CCTV evidence in a murder trial "because it cost £500". They have also said that mobile phone evidence was "unclear" and that an oyster card was "accidentally wiped". Shama'arke Hassan was shot dead and youthss were arrested. Now the police have "lost" evidence against the people they are accusing of killing him.

Sehar and Wania Shebaz have been deported

Shehar Shebaz and her daughter Wania were deported at 5pm this evening on a Pakistani Airlines flight to an uncertain future. There are other families in Yarls Wood now facing the same fate, children, babies and pregnant women. It is likely that Scottish children and their parents will now be taken there as Dungavel will no longer hold hold children.

New Social Center in Camberwell

Following the occupation of a series of buildings in Camberwell by the Tattoo Circus for their DIY Prisoner Support Benefit in association with ABC Bristol and the Bent Bars Project, several of the occupied buildings have been retained so that they can be used as the venue for the Indymedia 10th Birthday party

The current plans of the occupiers are to continue holding onto the space as a social center for Camberwell.  There will be a meeting in the space on Monday 24 May for anyone wanting to become involved.

The buildings themselves are spacious, well lit, and clean (although the Indymedia party may put a dent in that).  There is quite a bit of room to spread out and enjoy yourself!

Today, a 50-strong international bike ride begins the 400 mile journey from a community resisting Britain’s largest open cast coal mine in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales to County Mayo, Ireland, where local people have spent the last ten years fighting a Shell-led gas development. We aim to offer direct support to these two local campaigns resisting the fossil fuel industry.

The English Defence League will be marching tomorrow along with other groups described by the EDL as patriots from England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland. They will b egin the march at 2pm in Tothill Street, London SW1 and will march up towards Downing Street, Trafalgar Square and to Waterloo Place. Trevor Kelway has put out a callout for the EDL to join the march in London.
