Garden Festival Fayre This Sunday!

Langtree McLean, the developers who want to build on the old garden festival site, have cut down more than 1000 trees already. But they don't have planning permission yet! If they get their way, the site will be almost completely clear-felled. They are destroying semi-mature trees, including oaks, from the original plantings for the Garden Festival in the early 1980s.

Her name is Gina Khachatryan and she is being held with her husband VAHAN and daughter ELEN. The Home Office officials took them from Blandford Road, Salford in the early hours of Easter Monday, 9th April. They closed off the street and gave them 30 minutes to pack a few clothes. They are to be deported on Friday at 10.50 on flight KM101 to Malta, then on to Moscow and Armenia

Thousands of innocent Turkmens have been killed by the US and Kurdish militia forces during multiple heavy attacks on the city. What goes on in Tel Afer is part of the ethnic cleansing of Turkmens in the north of Iraq.
