A Free Cannibis action took place today outside Downing Street by the Green Party Drugs Group(GPD), to coincide with the release of the latest drug arrest figures for 1999 by the Home Office. An extroadinary number of just under 100,000 people were arrested for Cannibis which amounts to 75% of total drug arrests of 132,000 in that year.
