About 120 people gathered at Oakington Detention Centre today (19th August) as part of a Cambridge-wide campaign to highlight the plight and ill-treatment of refugees in the UK. People tied ribbons to the parimeter fence whilst playing instruments and sharing food. Huntinton Life Sciences, the firm which has supplied up to 500 animals a day to laborotories across the UK, is facing increasing financial difficulties.
