Considering it was meant to be a NATIONAL demonstration, The English Defence League's rally in the centre of Manchester on Saturday was unimpressive. If this motley collection of fascists and football hooligans thought they were going to spread their idea of 'English culture', they were sadly disappointed.

Mr. David Cameron, head of the Conservative Party, has announced the politics of the party in the case that they get political majority at the parliament election in June 2010 and then can form a new government. And one is tempted to conclude that this is Tory Politics as per usual, or a way of getting yet more money to the rich so they can continue there leisure life with champagne, Rolls Royce and cheap domestic staff.

Wednesday, 7 October 2009: Climate activists celebrated victory against carbon intensive coal power last night, as energy company E.ON announced they were indefinitely delaying building a new power station in Kent. The Camp for Climate Action targeted the Kingsnorth site in August 2008 1 as coal is one of the most environmentally destructive ways of generating electricity.2
