One astute observation made by a friend surrounding the US elections is that not voting for/being excited about Obama would be like not celebrating/being excited about Christmas. On the 11th of November a group of Sussex students and local activists gathered outside the gates of Brighton’s local bomb factory, laden with flowers and wreaths. 25-30 demonstrators placed the flowers outside the open gates at 11am and held a 2 minute silence to remember all those who have died because of war.Notts CND 50th anniversary event
