Thousands March to Show No! Welcome 4 State mUrDeRers!

09-11-2008 18:01

Ireland, Iraq - End the Occupations!
Thousands of people turned out to the Sinn Fein rally/march today (Sun 2
Nov) which opposed the 'home coming' parade by the notorious RIR regiment of
the British Army.

There was a large Ógra Shinn Féin presence on the day, with young
republicans travelling from across Ireland.

The rally/march was calling for an end to the ongoing illegal occupations in
Ireland, Iraq, and Afghanistan and also to demand the truth for the hundreds
of families who have been bereaved through the official British state policy
of collusion and state murder. The UDR/RIR themselves where part and parcel
of the murder machine.

Awami Mazahmat
Secular-minded workers, students, professionals, and concerned citizens joined a mass protest in the streets of Karachi, demanding an immediate end to the deadly raids by U.S. forces on Pakistani villages from bases in Afghanistan. Obama advisers discuss preparations for war on Iran

07-11-2008 23:09

The emerging consensus on Iran in US foreign policy circles again underscores the fact that the differences between Obama and McCain were purely tactical. While millions of Americans voted for the Democratic candidate believing he would end the war in Iraq and address their pressing economic needs, powerful sections of the American elite swung behind him as a better vehicle to prosecute US economic and strategic interests in the Middle East and Central Asia—including the use of military force against Iran.

Morning in Obamerica

05-11-2008 19:38

The parameters of rhetorical change are boundless, propelled into the nether-reaches of nonsensicality by hyper-speak and super-wishfullness that can never supplant the real world of entrenched class and race rule. Celebrate good times...COME ON! But at some soon point in time, we must return to the ground. And the need for struggle. Better start as soon as the cold breeze hits you. Like now.
