Around fifty peace campaigners today took a walk around the perimeter fence of “RAF” Croughton, finishing with a picnic, entertainment from the Oxford Sea Green Singers and others, and speeches from Felicity Arbuthnot, John McDonnell MP and the Rev David Platt. RAF Croughton is a little known but essential component of the US communications and spy network which includes other bases on UK soil such as Menwith Hill.

anti-war campaigner chris coverdale appeared at marylebone magistrates court this morning intending to argue that british and international law prevents him from paying a court fine arising from a conviction for 'unauthorised protest' and 'use of a megaphone'. the judge became the 21st who has refused to consider and uphold war law that chris has faced over 3 years in a variety of different cases.

Obviously this may be a traumatic experience for these lazy fat cats more used to telling people what to do, so the rehab bloc will offer them all the help and assistance they need to re-enter normal society.
