UK Customs & Excise resort to intimidation of and theft from pensioners
10-04-2009 00:58
An extended community of old aged pensioners are held for an hour and a half by British authorities in Calais. Five are interrogated with malice, and three have £200 each worth of legally exportable tobacco confiscated. This is an eyewitness account which finds that this is not an isolated incident, but a pattern of regular brutality by these officers.visteon workers leaving factory today at midday

Britain was once famous for its unarmed and relatively restrained police force, but the death of a man at last week's G20 protests in London has brought into focus serious concerns with a new aggressive form of policing. Former police chief Andy Hayman today warned [1] that "If left unchecked, we have a more violent crowd in uniform than the one demonstrating."Here I give my account of the protests and the police tactics used. This article was written several days prior to the release of the video [2] showing Ian Tomlinson, the man who died at the protests, being beaten and pushed by a baton-wielding policeman shortly before his death.

The policing at the G20 protests was extremely violent and agressive. Peaceful protesters were attacked and beaten, many of them suffering injuries. We`ve all seen the videos of police laying into the climate campers who stood there with their hands in the air calmly stating "this is not a riot". And now we see film evidence that Ian Tomlinson, who was not even a protester, was brutally attacked from behind with a baton, before being shoved hard to the ground by a vicious cop. Ian Tomlinson died minutes later - I call this MURDER and it happened on Jacqui Smith`s watch!!
