2 anarchists from Petersburg as well as Chechen from Novgorod Hasan Didigov are still being held in jail in Novgorod. They are suspected of blowing up "Nevsky express" train in Novgorod region which happened on the 13th of August 2007. According to the law people suspected of terrorism may be arrested for 30 days, but we demand their immediate release.

Governor Rick Perry accepted a recommendation from the state parole board and said today he would spare condemned prisoner Kenneth Foster from execution and commute his sentence to life. Foster had been scheduled to die on 30th August 2007.

Smash EDO Camp still resisting and actions will continue!

17:30 update

Sussex police have taken all the tents including the large marquee.

Someone locked onto the pole of the marquee confused around 50 police for a good hour. Eventually they had to lock-off because police were talking about dismantling the marquee, which would have been extremely dangerous for the locked-on protester.

There are reports that there are still people up in the trees on the site.
