learned to love the war on terror, has found a warm place in his heart for
Michelle's husband. It must be those things Obama says so alluringly, like,
I'm going to have a foreign policy like Ronald Reagan's.

Emergency Vigil for Syria

US Special forces have attacked a Syrian town near the Iraq border, killing at least 8 people, including children, and wounding 14 others. This attack follows strikes on Pakistan earlier in the month. The Oxford Stop the War Coalition is organising an emergency protest. It will be at 6.00pm at Cornmarket (Carfax end) on Tuesday 28 October.

A major blockade and protest is underway of the Atomic Weapons Establishment (AWE) at Aldermaston near Reading to mark UN Disarmament Week. The Aldermaston Big Blockade, organised by Trident Ploughshares and supported by the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND), Block the Builders and the Aldermaston Women’s Peace Camp [5] is seeking to disrupt work on existing Trident nuclear warheads and the facilities that will enable the development of their successors at Britain’s nuclear weapons research laboratory.

The wrong story - Tony Gosling reported on IRA bomb attacks for BBC's Greater London Radio in the early 1990s - but his assessment of the London bombings of 7th July 2005, due to be screened in October, has been shelved. Meanwhile further shocking facts are emerging almost unnoticed, an ex-arms fair company was in charge of an 'exercise' at the same three tube stations where the bombs actually exploded that day.
