To coincide with protests at DSEI a group of weapons inspectors entered an arms manufacturer in Norwich on Friday 16th September. On Thursday 8th September a vibrant protest was held outside Hiatt 111-115 Baltimore Road in Perry Bar Birmingham to expose Hiatt’s appalling trade in handcuffs and shackles. Guantanamo prisoners are restrained with shackles which say ‘made in England by the Hiatt Corporation’.

Plenty of exhibits and loads of lovely people. Letting it all hang out. Next to Afro-Caribbean Carnivals, I think these events are the most colourful and exuberant that we have in this country.
The biggest cheers of the crowd, went to the public service workers.
