Sorry its taken a week to publish these. The demo was on Sept 1st in Bristol on a very hot day.

90 striking Rolls Royce engineers were joined by 5-600 supporters from across the trade union movement. The demo was loud and without a single cop in attendence which was nice. So the centre of Bristol was brought to a brief standstill by the march which finished where it began on college green for some speeches. Sacked Gate Gourmet workers recieved a deafening ovation when they arrived at the rally. They had missed the march after getting stuck on the motorway. A diverse group of speakers offered their support to victimised shop steward Jerry Hicks.

It now seems that Rolls Royce are getting cold feet. They have increased their offer for Jerry to go quietly from £50,000 to £100,000. Jerry has yet again told them to get stuffed. The plant test area remains on indefinate strike until Jerry is reinstated.
