Early in December members of the Jobbik Party, the Hungarian ultra right Nazi party, held a meeting in Kentish Town at the Gloucester Arms pub in Leighton Road. Jobbik have been creating links with the BNP. With the BNP making gains in the European parliament and Nick Griffin standing for Barking and Deagenham now is the time to act to keep Nazis off of the streets of Camden.

Local people believe that loopy nazi John Coyne may have shot out his own pub windows in a bizarre attempt to smear anti fascist activists. Drunken Coyne has been at the centre of a political row and complaints from neighbours regarding his behaviour in the pub and his decision to let neo nazis hold meetings there. He plays loud music until 6am, lets kids in the pub where he watches porn dvds.

Demo marching towards Picadilly Circus
Today's 'Life's Too Short to be controlled' demo that was called by London No Borders attracted over 150 people that gathered at St.Pancras international terminal from 2pm. Whilst people were arriving banners were being unfurled, speeches were given over the mobile sound system, and bandanas specially made for the demo that read 'cctv operating at all times - life's too short to be controlled' and 'Smile you are on cctv - london no borders' were given out to the crowd.

On Monday 25th January London No Borders and No Borders Brighton are calling for a protest outside Crawley Town Hall (The Boulevard, Crawley, West Sussex RH10 1UZ) at 6.30pm to protest against Arora International's plans to turn its four-star hotel at Gatwick, Mercure, into yet another immigration prison.

Fascist pub The Gloucester Arms at 59 - 61 Leighton Road has been the centre of protests from anti racists following the decision by landlord John Coyne to let hardline neo nazis, the Jobbik Party hold meetings in the pub. The Jobbik Party are part of a European Alliance of Nationalist Movements drafted by the BNPs Nick Griffin. During the past 24 hrs most of the pubs windows have been shot out.

Lili and Keiran still here, but still in danger! Protest this Friday, Newcastle

The deportation of Lili and Keiran did not go ahead on Monday. No explanation has been provided by the UK Border Agency for this, they simply never came to collect Lili and Keiran from their room. They have been given new removal directions for next Monday, 25th January at 6.05 am from UK on Easyjet flight U22431 Luton to Paris, for onward transit to Cameroon. There's a further protest this Friday.

The Gloucester Arms on Leighton Road in Kentish Town has been subjected to protests by anti racists following the landlord, John Coyne's decision to let organised racists hold meetings in the pub. There will be a week of email and telephone action on the week of 25th - 29th Jan asking that Camden council remove the pub's licence especially as they play hardore porn in front of kids.

Camden Anarchists protested outside the fascist pub Gloucester Arms on Leighton road, Kentish town, Camden NW5 followoing the decision by landlord John Coyne to let the Jobbik party who are part of an Alliance Of European Nationalist Movement, drafted by Nick Griffen of the BNP. Anonymous activists have asked that a week of emailing / phone action about the pub be carried out.

ord Carey's comments on immigration promote racism, bishop warns

A Church of England bishop has warned that the former Archbishop of Canterbury's call for new limits on immigration would "play into the hands of racists". The Bishop of Ripon and Leeds, the Right Rev John Packer, is the latest Anglican cleric to criticise Lord Carey of Clifton after he said in an article in The Times that he feared the present levels of immigration threatened "the very ethos or the DNA of our nation". Lord Carey is a member of the crossparty parliamentary group on balanced migration, which last week urged the political parties to make a commitment to keeping Britain's population below 70 million.

Berminie Carine Lili, known to her friends as Lili, faces deportation with her two year old son Keiran Nana on Monday 18th January 2010. They were detained by six immigration police who demanded entry to their home in Hendon, Sunderland, in the early hours of Tuesday 12th January.
