Home office steals Unity centre volunteer

Our friend Kenny
Kenny Olwole Ogunbowale, a regular volunteer and a good friend of everyone at the Unity Centre in Glasgow, was detained on Monday 6th October. He has now been moved to Tinsley House where he awaits forced removal to Nigeria tomorrow 9th October. In Nigeria he believes the men who killed his father will be looking for him. There is not a lot of time to help Kenny, please see below what you can do immediately to help him.

The Shut Down the Camp Initiative calls for a day of action against the Sandholm refugee camp in North Zealand, Denmark. To do this we need all the help we can get. Mustafa Abdulrahim Mustafawas, who has been in UK since June 2004, was detained when he reported at his reporting centre in Loughborough this week. He criticised the Sudanese regime though his film work for which he was tortured: beaten and humiliated. We urge you to write on his behalf, to the Home Secretary, the Immigration Minister, and the Airline. Mustafa should not be returned to Sudan.
