Liberty wins permisson to seek public inquiry in Harmondsworth conditions

Liberty has won permission to seek a public inquiry over the "shameful" conditions it says foreign nationals were held in at a west London immigration detention centre.
The human rights pressure group contends that vulnerable detainees were left in overcrowded, flooded cells without food or water while fires burned during a riot at Harmondsworth in November 2006.

Jumoke, Elizabeth and Daniella
Our friend Jumoke and her kids, Elizabeth and Daniella, were 'snatched' again on Saturday morning and are back in Yarl's Wood Immigration Removal Centre. They are to be forcibly removed from the UK on Virgin Nigeria Airways Flight VK292 on Thursday March 6th leaving Gatwick at 10:15hrs to Lagos/Nigeria.

Lincoln Mzezewa belongs to Leeds!

Lincoln claimed asylum in February 2007 and has lived in Leeds since this point. He has established himself within the area of Leeds where he lives and is regular visitor to certain charities in the locality. He fled from South Africa after he claims that he was abducted on two separate occasions.

Saddiq Family Detained after Dawn Raid in Leeds
The Saddiq family are from Karachi in Pakistan. They fled to the UK in 2005 because Saleem suffered persecution due to active membership of a minority political party.

I really wish every body could understand that Millbank is a torture chamber, the conditions there are more inhuman than that of a detention centre. I really feel somebody have to do something to stop them from treating asylum seekers in the way that they do, I really do wish they could be exposed.
