Meat Sheik, Anglican paedophilia, and non-regulation Jewish foreskin

This past week in Australia has been ‘fundamentally’ outstanding; dimwitted fundamentalist religionists vied with each other for top billing in the local media. Never has the nation seen such retarded behaviour from so many diverse religious groups. The prize for fundamentalist imbecile of the week however goes to the Muslim cleric Sheik al-Hilali for his retrogressive reference to women as “uncovered meat”. He unashamedly placed the responsibility for rape and other sexually violent acts onto women; men were exonerated on the basis that “uncovered meat” is sexually provocative! The local media now refers to the cleric as the “Meat Sheik” and continues to sensationalise aspects of the story.AUSTRALIA; Today's English Lesson

London bombings: the unasked and unanswered questions
28-10-2006 10:44
Muslim resistance to US-UK imperialism gains nothing from the truly terrorist acts, like those of the London bombings. US imperialism is the main beneficiary of such acts. It is highly improbable that the leaders of Muslim resistance do not understand this or that they would carry out such actions for the benefit of their mortal enemy. Who actually carried out the London bombings? The Veil Issue Revisited
28-10-2006 04:33
The statements by Blair and Straw against the wearing of veils have been received positively in the pampered and sheltered filter of contemporary western sensibilities. In the Arab world, after five years of images of dead women in blood-splattered veils during two wars of conquest by these same sensitive liberators, such tasteless declarations will be taken as an extreme insult on top of grievous injury.Tourists may be warned to stay away from Sydney

Deepening crisis of US occupation regime in Iraq
27-10-2006 11:27
President Bush’s press conference Tuesday was dominated by the worsening position of the US occupation regime in Iraq and its impact on US politics only two weeks before the midterm congressional elections. Bush faced sharper questioning than usual from the normally docile press corps, as well as public criticism from within his own party.Latest campaign to demonise Islam and intimidate the Muslim Community

Alongside the otherwise successful evolution of the Free/Libre Open Source Software, there is a range of commentators on the digital economy, or the socalled knowledge economy, who help sustain the conventional, capitalist mode of production. Business as usual, the heart of the problem concerns the sanctity and the universal application of private property. This leads from an angry impulse reading today's Guardian - and a quick rant - into a more theoretical territory :)New York Times calls for more troops in Iraq
26-10-2006 09:04
On October 24, the New York Times published an extended editorial (“Trying to Contain the Iraq Disaster”) laying out its proposals for salvaging the US occupation of Iraq. The commentary expressed at once the perplexity and gloom within the US ruling elite over its prospects in Iraq, and its determination to intensify the violence and terror against the Iraqi resistance."War" on Iraq in perspective: the developing US imperialism and demonocracy

In October of 2001, a little over a month after 9/11, I wrote an article titled The Background is Oil. The hypothesis laid out in this article was that the 2000 US presidential election resulted in a coup of neocons and oil interests who had taken control of the US in order to prepare for the coming peak and decline of world oil production. Furthermore, this coup engineered the 9/11 terrorist attacks to further their own interests.
