Larry Cox, head of Amnesty International, silent as guard assaults activist.

26-11-2008 03:25

Banner, you can do it too.
Larry Cox, head of Amnesty International, stood silent as a guard violently assaulted a human rights activist who asked him a question at a public gathering at the Ethical Culture Society.

The four minute Youtube video was posted at:

 http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=qHqDjL8gR18

The activist was there to draw attention to AI's support of the Merida Initiative, aka, Plan Mexico, a military aid package that arms the Mexican army and police who are involved in the murder and arrest of activists in Oaxaca and Chiapas and the massacres in Atenco.

Common Purpose 'leadership charity' at the BBC

26-11-2008 00:41

Scoop? Hardly, but here's an interesting list of BBC Common Purpose graduates which was sent to me anonymously. It shows, if genuine, that Common Purpose has been targeting the BBC quite specifically, as I'm sure most organisations won't have such a high proportion of Common Purpose graduates. Most of these people will probably be entirely unaware of the criticism the likes of Ex-Royal Naval officer Brian Gerrish have been levelling at the charity. See if you recognise on-air staff from your BBC region.

An English National Party

25-11-2008 17:33

Some posters have suggested addressing the "genuine concerns" of the people who join the BNP. I don't think that is an alternative to direct action, but it really can't hurt. Fascism is just mass sado-masochism and if you can't argue against that, you just can't argue.

Secret Society - Freemasons Yearbook for England & Wales leaked on the net

22-11-2008 21:02

"The great strength of our Order lies in its concealment; let it never appear in any place in its own name, but always covered by another name, and another occupation. None is better than the three lower degrees of Free Masonry; the public is accustomed to it, expects little from it, and therefore takes little notice of it. Next to this, the form of a learned or literary society is best suited to our purpose, and had Free Masonry not existed, this cover would have been employed; and it may be much more than a cover, it may be a powerful engine in our hands. By establishing reading societies, and subscription libraries, and taking these under our direction, and supplying them through our labours, we may turn the public mind which way we will." - Adam Weishaupt, founder of the Illuminati translated from the original German and published in John Robison's 'Proofs of a Conspiracy' 1793.

Extrajudicial Assassinations As Official Israeli Policy

21-11-2008 21:25

Throughout its history, Israel willfully and systematically committed premeditated extrajudicial killings of Palestinians and other Arabs as official state policy - carried out with explicit high-level political, judicial and military authorization and allegedly in "self-defense" against individuals threatening Israeli security.

Almost never do Israeli government or military officials show evidence that targeted individuals acted violently or threatened Jewish citizens. Simply calling them "terrorists" is justification enough - to kill them extrajudicially, with no recourse to due process or respect for international law that bans the practice for any reason.
