Hereford anarchists where the main feature on local radio last night after they disrupted the ballot count to offer out the BNP candidate! one activists fully masked up and carrying an red and black flag entered the room full of hundreds of people shouting "come out John oliver you facist scumbag" and "show yourself you filthy nazi" only moments before Chris Gower the local organiser had glitter thrown in his face and the candidate John Oliver Recieved a egg to the front of his suit and a good kick to the back of his legs.No parasan!

If they can be persuaded not to, 17,000 new flights every year will be prevented. EDL Rooftop Demo at Dudley Mosque site
Early this morning the EDL staged a rooftop demo at the site of a proposed mosque where they had a demo just over a month ago. According to The Stirrer, the plan is for the demonstrators to stay for at least a week to show their opposition to the "Islamification to the town". Yesterday was the first May Day celebration in Coventry for many years, organised by Coventry Against Racism. The organisers had planned to kick off the event with a march, followed by a "Festival" in Millenium Place. The police demanded a payment of £900 to close the street: and when organisers couldn't cough up, the march was banned.
All the same, some of the assembled May Day celebrators forgot about the ban and spontaneously took to the streets, reclaiming the road and holding a colourful procession from the Council House to Millenium place. Maybe just an act of token resistance -- but was great to see Coventry town centre give way to anarchic festivity on May Day, even if just for a brief pause. The parade was led by the banners of West Midlands No Borders: "asylum is not a crime"; "freedom of movement for all"; "no one is illegal"; and "working is not a crime".

Justice Not Crisis Members stand as Green Candidates
Justice not Crisis, a 'direct action' housing group based in Birmingham with links to the Optima Housing Association are standing as Green Party candidates in the general election on May 6th. They are also urging people to vote for the Tories to kick out Labour, even though the occupation of land they carried out a couple of years ago was entitled the 'John Lines Homeless Village'. The occupation sought to highlight the lack of socially available housing and was named after the Conservative Cabinet Member for Housing, John Lines.The following is reposted from their website

Staff at the University of Birmingham have received ambiguous emails warning of an increase in security on campus on Thursday 29th April, the date of the third election debate, whose location is currently only given as 'the midlands' . There is also a lot of activity by grounds staff painting and planting in the centre of the campus (more than usual, even before the start of a new term or open days) .Its been all but confirmed by excitable lackeys at the student union.

Claire Parker 43 of Kexby Lane, Kexby, Lincolnshire was found guilty of letting people use her garage for dog fighting, of possessing 3 dogs for fighting and using them for fighting, attending dog fights and breeding fighting dogs. Her cruel husband John Parker died while in prison on other charges. Mohammed Nasir Farooq 34 of Daniels Road, Bordersly Green, Birmingham was also prosecuted.
