Jan Szyszko, Poland's Minister for the Environment, is planning helicopter flights over Rospuda, where nesting has already started. The minister wants to show foreign journalists and union experts the town along with presenting them with the itinerary of the bypass route, and in particular the section crossing the protected peat bogs of the Rospuda river."Flying over Rospuda during the nesting season is idiotic", confirmed an ecologist.
