There are places that will not listen to reason, continue to support an industry illegal in the UK, and cause massive suffering to geese and ducks, and for a 'delicacy'.

It is clear that there are places that have no limits to what they will place on the menu.
They will not listen to protesters and campaigners, now they are having to deal with the Animal Liberation Front, as they are realising to their increasing cost.

Mass death of bees in Germany: Pesticide approvals suspended

The cause of mass bee deaths has been established: pesticide products from chemical companies Bayer and Syngenta. They have been removed from sale in Germany. We should now pressure Bayer and regulators to remove them from sale elsewhere...

...since the early morning hours, houses, flats and storage rooms of austrian animal rights activists have been raided and some of them where arrested. The police forced some people with weapons and handcuffed others while searching the building and rooms.

According to Greenpeace Ocean's campaign, The Northwest Atlantic Fisheries Organization (NAFO), whose members include Canada, the European Union, Norway, Iceland, Russia and the US, has announced plans to regulate the activities of its fleets in line with a 2006 United Nations resolution. The resolution calls for urgent action to protect deep-sea corals and other vulnerable ecosystems from the impacts of bottom trawling on the high seas. The UN originally set a deadline for all regional fisheries treaty organizations to fully implement its plans by December 2008.
