London Solidarity Picket for sacked Tescos Workers

The first London solidarity picket for the 2 Polish Tescos workers sacked last week in Dublin took place on Thursday evening. Around 20 people turned out to leaflet shoppers and staff at the Tesco’s store on Morning Lane in Hackney – the same store targeted by the Precarity Assembly for action on Mayday this year.

Not an unreasonable request when you consider how much MPs earn.
When you consider how badly Parliament has shafted the rest of us it’s hardly surprising that they treat their own cleaners like dirt as well. The T&G Trade union today organised a 1 day strike and protest over the conditions experienced by the agency staff who clean Tony Blair’s toilet.

When I had problems and lost my job at Brookes, I thought the union might help me, but no. I started complaining about the way the union behaved, but got ignored till I told them I would put all the emails from them up on the web. Then they got MANAGEMENT’s solicitor to write a letter trying to gag me! Does anyone smell a rat?
