Michael Moore on live interview tells CNN to stop lying
10-07-2007 18:23
Moore may not be your chosen watch and the whole personality cult is a bit tiring too, but I think it is still worthy to watch this CNN program where M.Moore is interviewed about his film Sicko and he ignores the journalist's questions and start to ask about media corruption, lies and corporation control as well as Iraq...he does put things straight and call a spade a spade..you might get a bit of satisfaction from it if nothing else...Government aggrees to amendment of proposed changes to Highway Code
10-07-2007 11:22
Following pressure from many cyclists across the country, it appears - at least on the surface - that the government might have adopted a sensible approach and changed the original daft draft proposed changes to the Highway Code.On Cue, “al-Qaeda” Threatens Iran
10-07-2007 09:21
On the one hand, “al-Qaeda” supposedly declares a hankering to attack Iran, while on the other, according to NewsroomAmerica, “al-Qaeda” is “using Iran to organize and launch operations against U.S. and coalition forces in Iraq and elsewhere, western officials say…. The Financial Times reports that while the extent of al-Qaeda operations based in Iran isn’t clear, it is believed to be taking place with the direct approval of Iran’s hardline Islamic government.”Go figure.
Dr House and the Human Error

But crudest it is than in Chapter the patients risked their lives when leaving single Cuba to be taken care of with the Dr House. Nor I was wanted it to think when they told the synopsis me of the Chapter, I saw myself forced to see it to believe it and is thus, two Cubans leaving towards the United States in raft to be taken care of with House, as if in Cuba there were not sufficient doctorsSheffield Anarchists - Issue 2 - The Fargate Speaker - NEW AND IMPROVED

Talking Walls
08-07-2007 08:28
The mainstream press is full of stories but for ONE BIG exception; a FAILURE the proportions of which promise to sear the pages of history. The criminal intervention and the consequent holocaust and humanitarian disaster that is Western Interventionist Iraq! The media is at pains to avoid this story for obvious reasons -- it participated in the original ruse and deception upon which a full-scale military invasion was launched. The list of war criminals includes the name of Rupert Murdoch as he clearly carries equal responsibility with Bush, Cheney, Blair, Howard and the conservative forces that support them. War crimes arrests must therefore extend to Murdoch and other responsible parties – Murdoch is damned by his own words, delivered in numerous speeches and addresses to fellow conservative criminals.Do You Want Journalists at the Camp for Climate Action?

Oz government Not schizophrenic over Iraq oil statements
06-07-2007 08:02
As the aging carrier USS K(Sh)itty Hawk made its way into Sydney Harbour, Oz defence minister Brendan (studs) Nelson announced on national radio that oil was a major factor in Australia's (criminal) involvement in Iraq. Howard hoped this apparent rogue statement from one of his loyal minister’s would create political hysteria and grab headlines internationally and he was right! Setting the agenda and stealing the debate are well known tactics of Howard. Few possess the highly refined skills required to manipulate the local (and international) media to the extent that Howard does.Jammin Film screening 24/7 with Groove Armada

Melting Ice Sheets and Media Contradictions

An Exchange with George Monbiot of the GuardianA Matter of Justice or the Failure of Nations
03-07-2007 05:02
Press secretary for the Bush Whitehouse, Tony Snow, stated that Bush “has the ability to exercise his ‘own authority’ ..,” [my emphasis]. The comment was made in reference to a dispute in Congress and to presidential discretionary powers; however, what everybody is at pains to avoid is the nature of this “authority” in the US political system. Yes, the authority that is invested in the president is invested by the people through the democratic process; a president then becomes the representative voice of the people; and all things being equal – which they clearly are not – democracy continues in a healthy State! And therein lies the tale; the sickest democracy in the world today is the American ‘democracy.’Caught Red-Handed: Media Backtracks on Iran's anti-Israel "threat"
02-07-2007 22:37
For close to two years, the media has stubbornly clung to a long discredited story about the Iranian President’s alleged threat to “destroy Israel” with nuclear weapons Iran doesn’t have and denies any intent to acquire. ‘Wiped off the map, wiped off the map,’ they bleat incessantly, even though his actual words, “The Imam [Khomenei] said this regime occupying Jerusalem must vanish from the page of time,” were paralleled with the fall of regimes like the Soviet Union and Iran's former U.S.-installed monarchy [see: “WIPED OFF THE MAP” - The Rumor of the Century for a thorough disassembly of this claim]. From the start of his Presidency, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has rhapsodized regularly about the demise of the ‘Zionist regime’ in various metaphorical terms. He and his associates in the Iranian government have compared its fate to the Pharaohs of Egypt and the former apartheid regime in South Africa (which they also did not recognize), but never have they threatened to start a war with any country.Welsh Anarchist Radio

02-07-2007 10:48
A study which cost Australian taxpayers $200,000 by way of an academic grant, was duly trounced as hysterical and misleading (inferred) by the good ‘horse sense’ of Federal Police Chief Mick Keelty. The study makes imaginative claims of local 'terrorist activity' and utilises abstract and ambiguous terminology such as, "ideological sleeper cells" – by definition everyone is an 'ideological sleeper' as we are all prone to change our minds at any given time. The K.I.S.S. Principle
01-07-2007 09:42
For those not familiar with the acronym ‘KISS’, it expands to, “Keep It Simple Stupid”! The KISS (K) principle was/is the most invaluable teaching/training aid in the IT industry, especially in the early days when people actually feared the ‘complexity’ of computers. Anyone who is confronted by an overwhelming amount of ‘information’ tends to lose themselves in a sea of confusion. Fortunately, a very bright and creative mind developed the ‘K’ principle for dealing with these situations.Cults of Unreason and the End of Species

People today seem perplexed as civilisation as we know it plummets into the abyss. Yet, in the broad sense, the future is entirely predicable. The much lauded system of economic rationalism has resulted in huge disparities in wealth comparable to ancient societies; the wealth of Pharaoh-God-Kings of the past was staggering and in stark contrast to the wealth of their subjects. The peoples’ living standards were maintained at ‘adequate‘ levels to ensure a fit work/slave force for their rulers – remind you of anything, are you able to draw any comparisons today? In fact ancient Egypt (utilising modern poverty statistics) would have fared better in the social sense than most of today’s societies. So much for economic rationalism and laissez-faire capitalism! The inequity of today’s economic reality is far from mysterious; however, one mystery remains, the masses of today tolerate far greater inequities than the masses of yesterday.Loan defaults escalating: Big Finance and governments Responsible
29-06-2007 08:36
Many articles have been written on the tactic of pervasive and continuous debt as a form of economic social management. However, few financial ‘wizards’ and politicians understood the ramifications of such a tactic. To meet regular needs average people have been forced to borrow at rates never before seen. As a result of the created necessity to borrow large amounts and the ease of obtaining large loans, a rapid increase in loan defaults is occurring. Perhaps statistical information on the ‘spike’ in long term debt servicing and mortgagee defaults highlights the failure of the debt strategy. Hailed at the time as the optimum method of economic and social management, today it is proving to be just another strategy of big business appropriating more at the expense of EVERYTHING and everyone else.People of Britain: It's "Liberation Day!"
28-06-2007 15:05
We would like to welcome the United Kingdom, back into the "family of nations", now that the country has been "liberated" from the "repressive", "dictatorship" of Mr. Anthony Blair.Intelligence Services, The Media and anti-Iran Propaganda
28-06-2007 11:32
The media is waging the same relentless propaganda bombardment to clear the path to yet another war, using the same tactics of anonymous sources, distortions and unsubstantiated claims to manufacture consent in a population that predominantly has no appetite for war.
