Black Block in Rostock strikes back during anti-G8 protests

22-08-2007 19:33

The following text was written by people belonging to the radical left in Germany, who, like many others, have different perspectives on and opinions about the incidents of the 2nd June 2007 in Rostock during the protests against the G8-summit. Action Committee To Get The People Their Money Back

22-08-2007 14:06

As we [ACTION COMMITTEE TO GET THE PEOPLE THEIR MONEY BACK] have pointed out before, a number of individuals got on TV and other media making promises that they were doing something tangible and that the people would get their money back from the perpetrators who acted by using the name 'First Solution'. The victims have been low-income, mainly expatriate Bangladeshis in the UK. The 'publicity' has been mainly given to divert attention away from the shoulders of the perpetrators, the individuals who took the money and who controlled the taking and misappropriating of the cash.

11th hour - movie references obscure

22-08-2007 12:08

The new USA "save the world" movie "11th hour", with all its celeb backing, seems almost to obscure the things it tries to explain, but include "blindspots" - or "logic jumps" - that have the - perhaps unintentional - effect of distracting the people watching it from - in these days of "subprimedebtboombustcrashes" is as hard to miss as a Flood.
