Having had imported wild bird seed containing oilseed rape which germinated in cracks in our concrete yard, I discovered that it and the kibbled maize seed had been imported. there is therefore a chance that, if it is GM it is being spread throughout the UK.Genetix Update issue 26 out now

The campaigns against Bayer and GM have claimed a major success as we continue our struggle to protect the UK against genetically modified crops. On 31st March Bayer announced that they will not commercialise their GM maize Chardon LL in the UK. This comes only weeks after the Government gave partial approval for the growing of this crop.
