USA ELECTIONS VOTE ACCURACY - GLOBAL PRESSURE NECESSARY

15-09-2008 16:18

It seems from this weeks "local" news - (Ohio local, that is) that despite the integrity declarations of the MCCAIN/PALIN campaign, in fact, possibly without their awareness ( these methods of election distortion WERE also used against Mccain in several primaries ), people are getting put into place, then, at times, attached to the payroll of their election team (!old method of trying to get peoples complicity or cover-up) . As the distortion of the last elections are hitting the courts, as state by state, congressional comitee by commitee, enquiries are showing how it was done, serious pressure from researchers, campaigners, diplomat-types etc across the world COULD prevent the worst of the fraud.

Berlusconi vetoes Oliver Stone "W" movie.

14-09-2008 12:39

"il Festival de Roma" is to be celebrated between the 22nd and 31st of October this year and will include movie premiers as usual. The organisers had they thought pulled off a bit of a "coup de grace" if not "coup d'etat" when they signed up Oliver Stone's "W" a forthcoming global release which tells the story on one young alcoholic's bravery in the face of overwhelming odds to achieve his dream of the presidency of the USA. Alas, festival organisers didn't count on the cinematic interest of Italy's modern day "Duce" who like his forebear realises the power of the silver screen to teach the masses some truth. According to the British distributors of the product Dda it was Mr B. who vetoed the movie arguing it is insulting & misleading - simply "untrue" something the seventh art ought not be. "Mr B knows best." & Roman festival goers aint gonna see the movie.

London fare rises are a con - Mayor leaves Londoners paying for £16bn Crossrail

09-09-2008 12:04

The recent London fare rises are just the beginning of how the City will fleece ordinary Londoners to pay for a rail line that reduces congestion for fat City bankers in the City of London and Canary Wharf. The City of London Corporation, the medieval unelected body of the City wants Crossrail but wants ordinary taxpayers to pay for Crossrail. Who is behind this? None other than the dodgy British Energy Adrian Montague who is good at leaving taxpayers paying for incompetent companies for instance, he negotiated leaving taxpayers paying for the decomissioning of nucelar waste (current cost £70bn and rising) and he is behind the Government wanting more nuclear power

Kingsnorth: Activists use climate change as defence for £30,000 tower

05-09-2008 15:14

This week six Greenpeace activists charged with causing £30,000 of criminal damage to a power station have been on trial at Maistone Crown Court. Its a key case because they are arguing that although they caused damage it was criminal because it was necessary to prevent greater damage to property caused by the effects of climate change, specifically the Yellow River, the Larsen B ice shelf, rainforest in Amazon and Congo and properety and liveleihoods in Banagladesh and Sri Lanka.
