"il Festival de Roma" is to be celebrated between the 22nd and 31st of October this year and will include movie premiers as usual. The organisers had they thought pulled off a bit of a "coup de grace" if not "coup d'etat" when they signed up Oliver Stone's "W" a forthcoming global release which tells the story on one young alcoholic's bravery in the face of overwhelming odds to achieve his dream of the presidency of the USA. Alas, festival organisers didn't count on the cinematic interest of Italy's modern day "Duce" who like his forebear realises the power of the silver screen to teach the masses some truth. According to the British distributors of the product Dda it was Mr B. who vetoed the movie arguing it is insulting & misleading - simply "untrue" something the seventh art ought not be. "Mr B knows best." & Roman festival goers aint gonna see the movie.

Oliver Stone has already made movies about JFK and Nixon - there is no word yet whether these will be removed from Italian vid shops in the future. Certainly this is not the first time Mr B has made moves on home entertainment options. As reported earlier this year the Italian state attempted to close all access to Pirate Bay unwittingly sparking an increase in downloads from that state & a better awareness of Open DNS. as reported here  http://www.indymedia.org.uk/en/regions/london/2008/08/406894.html & here  http://thepiratebay.org/blog/123  https://www.opendns.com/start

or just read about & prepare intellectual film criticism here  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/W._(film) Just remember to use the word "trope" as in "Mr B's censorship of film is a fascist trope which belongs in the legacy of falsification which began with Mussolini's construction of Roman imperial ruins which to this day get mistaken for the real thing by tourists....... but obviously not me nor you.........why look there is a gypsy child..........call the army".
