24-02-2010 12:30

Greece is the latest in a line of countries squeezed by the ongoing financial crises continuing to ripple around the world. It is an important case to watch, more so than say Iceland or Ireland, as the situation in Greece is closer to the economic positions of the UK – both have governments who form an important part of economy, and are financially overstretched.

NATO’s Role In The Military Encirclement Of Iran

11-02-2010 17:52

US military bases in the Middle East and Central Asia
The chain is being tightened around Iran from every direction and NATO is supplying several of the key links.

It is too early to tell whether the false accusations levered against Iran are a pretext for NATO’s further deployment or whether its deployment constitutes the premise for a new war.

Descent Into Barbarism: The US and NATO Wage War on the World

09-02-2010 19:37

In our time, war, it seems, has already begun. The US oligarchy and its NATO allies are waging a veritable war on the world: killing, disappearing and incarcerating millions of civilians in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan – a war that is expanding into Yemen, Somalia and the rest of the Horn of Africa, with the militarisation of sea lanes and oceans and the setting up of “forward projecting” military and missile bases in every continent.

On top of ordinary poverty and misery, the world is truly seeing another historic descent into barbarism. Given this war-mongering dynamic, the growing US antagonism with Iran, Russia and China is far from an idle threat. It is the logical next step for a deeply illogical economic system.

Quantitative Easing, what it is and why it’s not working

08-02-2010 08:28

The Bank of England would like to stimulate the economy, but I don’t believe that is QE’s real purpose. What it was meant to do was to cover a UK debt hole that most people don’t understand but could push the economy into depression.

Good Morning America: US Public Wakes up to the Destructive Nature of Capitalism

02-02-2010 23:30

As 20 million Americans struggle with unemployment and 40 million depend on food stamps, President Obama’s exhortation for “America to make painful choices” and to “live within its means”, must sound rather sickening. The president’s budget announcement calls for “austerity” in “discretionary spending” such as education and healthcare, but this frugality is not extended to the American military.

US military's Haiti "relief" ops: A Rehearsal For Troop Deployment in L. America

31-01-2010 21:57

USSOUTHCOM area of responsibility
The American commandeering of the airport at Port au Prince and de facto seizure of sovereignty over Haiti looked exactly like an invasion and occupation – except that Haiti had already been invaded in 2004 by the U.S., which then turned over occupational duties to its servants in the United Nations. To speak of a U.S. “invasion” of Haiti is getting a little bit redundant. The Americans never left, and they and their flunkies walk all over Haiti like an old rug.

Corruption in Ghana: Who is to Blame?

31-01-2010 14:10

The racist and anti-Afrikan Western media likes to publish to its readers that some how the Afrikan is innately corrupt and it is this trait in the Afrikan that is responsible for the chronic under development and impoverishment of the contnient.

This assertion is nothing more than a vile racial slur which my article will prove. What Westerners are not aware is that White governments and multi-national companies are at the root of this corruption enticing naive Afrikans to get what they want.
