Foie gras is the pathological liver of a bird suffering from hepatic steatosis. Diarrhoea, panting, walking difficulties, lesions and inflammations of the neck are daily realities for birds raised to produce the disgusting 'delicacy' that is foie gras. Please ask the restaurants below to remove this barbaric product from their in-house menus.

Foie gras, considered by some to be a delicacy, is produced by forcing a long metal pipe down the throats of ducks and geese and force-feeding them massive amounts of grain, resulting in their livers swelling to up to 10 times their normal size where the liver then becomes diseased and that disease is know as hepatic steatosis. The diseased liver is sold and served as 'foie gras'.

A butcher has been fined ten thousand pounds for animal cruelty after sheep were left without water for days. Premier Halal Meats in Calderdale were fined £9401 after pleading guilty on 4 counts of animal cruelty. The butchers claimed that there was a "mix up" over delivery times and dates as an excuse for not giving the animals any drinking water. The Halal butcher also flouted religious rules on cruelty
