Marine Mammals And Other Sea Life To Be Decimated

The United States Navy will be decimating millions of marine mammals and other aquatic life, each year, for the next five years, under their Warfare Testing Range Complex Expansions in the Atlantic, Pacific, and the Gulf of Mexico. The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS under NOAA), has already approved the “taking” of marine mammals in more than a dozen Navy Range Warfare Testing Complexes, and is preparing to issue another permit for 11.7 millions marine mammals (32 Separate Species), to be decimated along the Northern, California, Oregon and Washington areas of the Pacific Ocean.

Activists from Win Animal Rights launched a campaign to influence the new #1 Huntingdon Life Sciences Investor, Morgan Stanley, (who recently bought LSR stock) to divest their large holding of LSR shares. With 679,225 shares of LSR stock, Morgan Stanley was a 5% owner of Huntingdon Life Sciences. Also, many emails were sent to Morgan Stanley asking them not to deal with HLS (LSR).

False opposition to animal liberation

As much as radically critical political theory - or should I say anti-political - is seen as thoughtcrime by the state, I am increasingly notice this to be true of the radical political/anarchist scenes. It seems there are so many dogmas and liberal expectations to be aspired to that these mileues are just as coercive and authoritarian as conventional political. Veganism, or at least vegetarianism seems to be one of these, and as a meat eater I regularly come up against those preaching consumption politics.
