In January the Israeli Government published the memorandum of a Bill - 'Regulation of the Bedouin settlement in the Negev' which provides steps to be implemented to relocate the overwhelming majority of residents of the unrecognized villages & confiscate about 2/3s of the land remaining in their possession. Due to anticipated resistance, the Bill also provides violent measures to ensure its implementation & this bill will soon will become law.
