For the last few months, a group of friends and comrades have been plotting and scheming to bring an event about globalisation, neo-liberalism and worldwide resistance to the University of Essex - so here it is, the first ever Alter-Globalisation week! Our aim to promote not only discussion about, but also action against the neo-liberal reforms that threaten to take away everything good in society and for a different kind of globalisation, one that puts people over profit.
