The post-9/11 decade of lies
08-09-2011 19:05

The propaganda myth of 9/11, imbedded inextricably into the fibers of society and culture, and into the brain cells of naïve, willfully uninformed people, is back for another sickening “commemoration”.
Who chooses to “commemorate” the lie of 9/11? Undoubtedly, the high officials and elites who planned the event, who successfully achieved everything they wanted---unending war for oil, naked fascism and militarism, and economic conquest---from this ultimate false flag operation. The atrocity of 9/11, the desperate act of an empire facing extinction, was not an “intelligence failure”, but the greatest intelligence success and criminal operation in history.
Open expression of concern

I am actively involved in supporting people in prison and those hurt by our "justice" system and write to express concern regarding the treatment of those detained at Woodhill CSC. I am well aware that these are prisoners some of whom have mental health issues and are unlikely to be helped by some of the reports that have reached me.Where was Andrew Lansley on 7 September 201

On the day the House of Commons held the second day of the report stage and third reading of the Health and Social Care Bill, (Wednesday, 7 September) Andrew Lansley was opening a conference for the independent healthcare sector. Also present was Barbara Hakin, National Managing Director for Commissioning Development at the Department of Health, and David Bennett, Chairman and Interim Chief Executive of MonitorLaing & Buisson arranged a one day symposium for the independent healthcare sector and the opening speaker was Andrew Lansley. This took place yesterday, on the very day that the Health and Social Care Bill received it's third "reading" in the House of Commons and was approved by MPs by 65 votes to go back to the House of Lords.
The day consisted of talks about riveting matters such as: Putting private healthcare back on the political agenda, Investment opportunities, The OFT's market study into private healthcare, Private practice the new market for the NHS.
Andrew's friends were also present. Ian Dalton, Managing Director of Provider Development at the Department of Health, gave a presentation called "Transforming the role of providers: the new open market in healthcare, opportunities for independent sector providers.
I'm not making this up. Mr Andrew "ludicrous scaremongering" Lansley was there and so were his mates from the Department of Health. Here is a link to the brochure for this conference http://www.laingbuisson.co.uk/Portals/1/Conference/Brochure_Forum_1.pdf

End the Arms Trade! Defend the Right to Protest!
08-09-2011 15:55
A march for peace and freedom will take place on Wednesday 14th September, from Westminster to the ExCel Centre in east London, where 'Defence and Security Equipment International' (DSEi), the world's biggest arms trade fair will be in progress.
In recent months, citizens have been slaughtered by the day in Egypt, Libya, Bahrain, Syria and elsewhere by totalitarian regimes that refuse to recognise their right to peaceful protest. To carry out this repression, governments have used arms sold to them by British companies through arms fairs like DSEi.
The British government spends millions of pounds defending the 'right' of arms companies to ply their wares undisturbed at DSEi, whilst forbidding citizens from marching peacefully and exercising their hard won rights to freedom of expression and association.
It is vital that we make the link between defending the right of citizens to protest peacefully and the arms trade.
Meet 10am, Kingsgate House - home of the Government's arms export division, UKTI DSO - 66-74 Victoria Street, London. SW1E 6SW

Note that this march complies with the notification requirements for processions under sec.11 Public Order Act 1986. It may, however, breach a 30-day blanket ban on processions in the City of London and several east London boroughs. The organiser of this march reasonably believes that the ban is a serious, disproportionate and unreasonable infringement of Articles 10 (freedom of expression) and 11 (freedom of association) of the European Convention on Human Rights, incorporated into domestic law through the Human Rights Act 1998.
Please get in touch to publicly pledge to defy the ban.
Planned route: Victoria Street, Parliament Square, Whitehall, Strand, Fleet St, Ludgate Hill, Cannon St, Queen Victoria St, Cornhill, Leadenhall St, Aldgate, Aldgate High St, Whitechapel High St, Braham St, Commercial Road, East India Dock Rd, Silvertown Way, Peto St North, Victoria Dock Rd, finishing at Custom House DLR for ExCel Centre.

On 13 September, one of the world's biggest arms fairs opens in London, backed by the British government. On 8 September, the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry will hold a preview entitled "Middle East: A vast market for UK defence and security companies". The host was the Royal Bank of Scotland, a major investor in cluster bombs. According to Amnesty international, the victims of cluster bombs are 98 per cent civilians and 30 per cent children. The Royal Bank of Scotland has received £20 million in public money. The blurb for the bank's arms party reads: "The Middle East is one of the regions with the greatest number of opportunities for UK defence and security companies. Saudi Arabia... is the world's top defence importer, having spent $56bn in 2009... a very worthwhile region to target."Palestine Today 09 08 2011
