Urgent! Oppose Welsh Streets demolition

The 7 year campaign to save the Welsh Streets in Liverpool 8 is again fighting a demolition order. Petitions online and offline, plus letters of objection to Liverpool City Council must be submitted by 13th April. For the first time the Welsh Streets Homes Group has a campaign website and also a twitter account, and support is spreading rapidly.

Then went for a tour around Nottingham, visiting the usuals at Vodafone, NatWest, TopShop, Miss Selfridge, Dorethy Perkins & Boots.
Earlier, Notts UK Uncut had occupied Lloyds TSB Bank in Nottingham city centre. The theme this week was cuts to the health Services.
Earlier bank occupations had taken place at NatWest & Barclays.
They then went on a tour around Nottingham, visiting the usuals at Vodafone, NatWest, TopShop, Miss Selfridge, Dorethy Perkins & Boots.
All to highlight their lack of social responsibility in not paying there taxes.

Tour around Nottingham, visiting the usuals at Vodafone, NatWest, TopShop, Boots ... but time included Miss Selfridge & Dorethy Perkins.

On the evening of Sunday the 10th of April the Edinburgh offices of Weber Shandwick had their locks glued shut preventing the start of work on Monday morning.Weber Shandwick are a public relations company who help clean-up the image of many irresponsible corporations, one of them being Scottish Coal. Scottish Coal are currently pushing to expand open-cast coal mining across Southern Scotland, in particular the Douglas Valley area of South Lanarkshire.
