Cheezy goes down with a fight

29-05-2010 00:22

Cheezy has been taken down
Thursday morning around 11 o'clock, Cheezy left his rooftop occupation for a quick trip to the local shop. Security guards at the Jester's building opposite alerted the police who turned up pretty quick and wrestled the rooftop rascal to the ground. He briefly managed to struggle free, but was brutally tackled by 6 policemen who smashed his head against the pavement, knocking him unconscious and leaving him bleeding from the head.

Telepathic Heights was re-occupied within hours of the police arriving on the scene, hoping to protect the loud and lairy heritage of the Croft and continue the frizzy haired madman's eccentrical dreams of an Independent State of Cheeze. New radical library cafe space on Stokes Croft !

28-05-2010 21:22

Heya oh teaheads and folkoes and sane people as well,

Business as unusual a new space open to imagination and creativity has just started buddying in the vibrant mosaic of Stokes Croft. Kettle is rocking and projects are already brewing there. Libertarian library, T-room, chess-club, cabaret, junk poetry workshop, factory of dreams,,, why the sky should be a limit ?

We're currently working at decorating the space and planning future activities. Any help and new ideas are welcome and you can knock'n'pop in any time to have a look around and a cup of tea and maybe stay longer to draw, paint, read, write, play, plumb, sew and do stuff if you fancy.

You can find that new temple of liberty at the bottom of Stokes Croft just across the freeshop and the Emporium gallery. It has just been painted pink and black, you can't miss it.

Fancy another funky meeting ? There will be one there this monday at 18.03 !
