Police attacks mayday demonstration in Russia - 1 death

Special units attacked the 1st of mai demonstration in Russia, Niznij Novgorod. One demonstrator got run over by a military transporter of the special unit OMON, which was suddenly driving into the crowd and the demonstrator was imediatedly dead.
There was no reason for this attack on this boring march of the KPRF.
There were no reports in the media, which are all controlled by the state anyway.

60 odd protesters, many colorfully clad, in 2 groups. 80 odd police, in grim black clothing, mainly tucked away in 15 vans on road on east side of Marylebone station. As regards a fashion contest, protesters win easily. Protesters in front of Marylebone station corralled in by police, behind the main road and that side of hotel smaller group is on main road, along with police. Good natured so far, get down here!!!

The Irish SWP have been caught in an embarressing slip. Within 36 hours of the biggest and most militant anti-capitalist march that the country has seen in decades, the SWP produced a leaflet which they handed out on the RTS in Dublin on Monday May 3rd.
