17-01-2009 02:59The Smash EDO campaign has been contacted by a group of campaigners who
forced entry into the ITT/EDO MBM arms factory early this morning,
Saturday 17th January. They destroyed equipment inside the factory that
is used to make the weapons used in Israel's wholesale slaughter of
civilians in Gaza.
14-01-2009 23:19With Israeli war crimes continuing in Gaza, Smash EDO and Gaza need you more than ever! As you might know EDO/ITT make weapon components for the Israeli army, including parts for the F16s which are currently bombing Palestinian civilians.
14-01-2009 14:42We are calling on all our supporters to do what you can to protest against the massacres taking place in Gaza. See our events page for details of specific actions; including emergency protests.
11-01-2009 09:48On Wednesday 21st January we will be naming the victims of Israeli massacres in Gaza outside ITT on Home Farm Rd, Brighton from 4-6.
10-01-2009 22:56Guardian article 9th Jan: "An Israeli-owned British company has been drawn into the political controversy over arms sales to Israel prompted by the assault on Gaza"
10-01-2009 17:35Gaza – Ma’an –Since midnight Saturday morning Israeli fire killed 21 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. Most were killed in or near their homes.
The vast majority of deaths from Saturday were in the northern areas of the Gaza Strip, in the Zaytoun neighborhood of Gaza City and Jabaliya to the north.
In southern Gaza Israeli strikes targeted factories and industrial buildings, while homes were left relatively safe.
07-01-2009 23:54This week EDO have put their top brains to work in the war of words against their factory.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, more than 640 have been killed over eleven days of Israeli attacks on Gaza. More than 2,850 have been killed.

Gaza – Ma’an – Israeli forces killed at least 42 Palestinians at a UN school that was sheltering displaced people in Jabaliya Refugee Camp in the northern Gaza Strip late on Tuesday afternoon, medical officials confirmed to Ma’an.
According to initial reports, the school was destroyed, collapsing on top of Palestinians who took shelter inside from the intense bombardment by Israeli air and ground forces.
05-01-2009 22:52After stuffing their faces all Christmas the workers of Edo/ITT are back at work this week to continue to make parts to kill and maim innocent people in Gaza.
05-01-2009 13:13Last night pixies grafitteed the road and path leading to Brighton arms manufacturer EDO/ITT with slogans condemning the company's complicity in the carnage being carried out by Israeli forces in Gaza.
01-01-2009 20:35ITT/EDO-MBM make components for the Israeli F16's which are bombing Palestinians in Gaza as we speak. Demonstrations against these atrocities are taking place all week across the country -join them.
01-01-2009 20:08Dear members,
I'm writing you this message with the very sad news that tonight also Mohammad Khawajah (20 yrs old) died in Ramallah Hospital as a direct result of his severe injury.
Mohammad and Arafat were both shot (with live ammunition) by Israeli soldiers last sunday during a demonstration in solidarity with Gaza in Ni'lin. Arafat was shot in his heart (through his back) and died shortly after. Mohammad was shot in the back of his head and was brought to Ramallah Hospital. His injury was too severe to treat and this resulted in his death tonight.
Mohammad's funeral will be in Ni'lin tomorrow.

29-12-2008 22:19PSC thanks the thousands of people who came out to demonstrate yesterday and today outside the Israeli embassy in London, and across the UK, to call for an end to the killing and an end to the siege of the people of Gaza.
Please join the protests and demonstrations over the next few days (please check our website www.palestinecampaign.org for latest events):
28-12-2008 18:33Edo/ITT are complicit in ongoing murder. Shut ITT tomorrow.
28-12-2008 10:19In the basement, the family begins the night at their allotted sleeping spaces,
but as the hours pass, draw closer together until women and children are
huddled together in a pile of blankets. The women have slept little, and look
exhausted. There are 5 or 6 children under the age of 5, touselled hair and
solemn faces. The oldest boy's face is pinched and distorted with anxiety.
Explosions are sporadic; sometimes far off, sometimes close. The drone of
Israeli aircraft is constant. Fragments of news come by the phone. Attack
beside Al Shifa hospital; windows break onto patients. Security and Protection
Forces attacked. Al Aqsa TV channel attacked. Plastic factory attacked. Al
Asaraya building. The number of dead increases in small leaps.

Shortly before 7:00am local time, yet another Israeli missile strike hit the residential neighbourhood of Hi Alijnina in the southern Gaza town of Rafah. This time a pharmacy was targeted, totally destroying the building and causing severe damage to surrounding homes. Electricity lines were torn down during the blast and the street was littered with medicines. This footage was filmed within minutes of the attack as fire fighters battled to control the blaze. Shocked residents poured into the streets, some still wearing pyjamas.
