Please contact your Member of Parliament (MEP) today and ask them to sign a Declaration that takes a stand against efforts to curb Internet freedom in ACTA. ACTA threatens to make it an imprisonable offence to own MP3s and videos and even to 'incite' infringement.

The end of ID cards?

The incoming Con-Dem government has confirmed its commitment to scrap the National Identity Register (NIR) and ID cards for UK citizens. Whilst those who have been campaigning against the ID database naturally welcome the end of these particularly unpleasant and invasive aspects of the surveillance state, there is plenty to be cautious about.

The following article is an entry that appeared on Wikipedia. Within the last 24 hours a major "edit war" broke out and it appeared, at least to me, that the information was being suppressed. The article goes into depth about a field of espionage that employs a technology known as "silent sound" or "Synthetic telepathy". If you're interested in high tech espionage, this makes for a very good read.
