18-05-2006 22:26

First known graph of Moore's Law Ending
Dell, Intel, and Microsoft stocks are in freefall. (Dell is getting a dead-cat bounce today on AMD news.) Like the last Tech Wreck (in 2000), this one has to do with Moore's Law. Moore's Law is a self-fulfilling prophecy financed by Intel, his company, as long as they can afford it.

Indymedia - Rackspace news?

17-05-2006 12:39

I'd like to know whether all avenues of complaint were pursued, or if any action is currently 'live' regarding Rackspace UK voluntarily passing Indymedia's data to a foreign law enforcement agency. I see that the EFF page was last updated in August 2005.

16-05-2006 13:55

The Synthetic Biology Community is expecting to issue some sort of public position/ statement on voluntary governance of Synthetic Biology at the upcoming Synthetic Biology 2.0 conference on the 21st May in Berkeley. RMIT=Brain Tumour Factory!

13-05-2006 22:45

Brain-tumour-causing mobile phone towers
I have been astounded by the story of the RMIT Business campus and the brain-tumour-causing mobile phone towers. The most shocking thing has been the stampede by 'experts' to deny linkage b/w towers and cancers. Throw away your mobile phones immediately! They are addictive and deadly!

Time to make your voice heard on nanotech regulation

08-05-2006 21:23

The issues around nanotechnology closely resemble those of GM crops, a powerful new technology being rushed on to the market by profit driven corporations before even basic safety concerns can be addressed.
